Hurricane Ali is 2lb lower than when second in this race 12 months ago but he’s become hard to place. Soaring Glory is also entered in the 1.40 at Newbury while Ballybreeze is 0-6 over hurdles, though potentially well treated on the pick of his chase form. COLLINGHAM was holding his own in better company at the start of the year. He didn’t do a lot wrong on his reappearance at Musselburgh and Brian Hughes takes over the reins from a conditional here.
