      CAST A STONE was a very hot favourite over 7f on this track in March but could only finish third. Also placed twice at Hawthorne in December, he’ll never get a better chance to break his duck. At the Alamo and Start From Scratch are carrying less baggage than most so could be the ones to profit if Jeff Runco’s colt falls short again.
