England Netball have confirmed that New Zealand coach Waimarama Taumaunu is to join up with the England Roses performance department this summer.
Taumaunu most recently led the Silver Ferns to the final of the 2014 Commonwealth Games and 2015 Netball World Cup and stepped down from her role in September.
The experienced New Zealander joins up ahead of a busy summer for Tracey Neville's squad and will support England Netball in its development and preparation for the 2019 Netball World Cup campaign, which will be held in England.
It is the second time that Taumaunu has linked up with England Netball following her role as Performance Director between 1998 and 2003.
A statement from England Netball said: "We are dedicated to providing our Roses team with the best possible support network and training programme ahead of the home World Cup, and believe Wai will be a valuable asset in this strategic process.
"We will welcome Wai to our training camp in mid-June as preparations begin towards the SANZEA Series in August."
England face Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales at Netball Europe in Newcastle before Taumaunu joins up with the squad for new SANZEA Series which takes place in August and September.
