SANZEA have announced a new competition, with Australia, New Zealand, England and South Africa set to compete in the International Netball Super Series.
Four of the sport's biggest competing countries joined forces in December 2015 to announce the ground-breaking SANZEA partnership which was designed to set-up a regular top level international competition.
The link-up has now confirmed the International Netball Super Series will take place for the first time in August and September later this season - with Australia and New Zealand hosting what promises to be a memorable series of games.
The event will kick off in Auckland with a double header which will see the Silver Ferns host Tracey Neville's England Roses after the world champion Australian Diamonds take on the SPAR Proteas.
Four days later the event will then move to Hamilton for New Zealand's meeting with South Africa while in Adelaide Australia will host England.
The last round of games will take place in Melbourne, the Roses face SA before a repeat of last year's World Cup final between the Diamonds and the SIlver Ferns.
It promises to be a memorable occasion and England Netball Chief Operating Officer Joanna Adams believes the event will take the sport to new heights.
"This is a ground-breaking initiative for netball. The International Netball Super Series will allow fans across the world to witness regular, world class fixtures. It will showcase those at the pinnacle of the sport and highlight their immense talent," Adams said.
"The SANZEA partnership was created to develop this world-class international competition and to inspire an increase in the strength of depth in the global game.
"England Netball is incredibly excited and we look forward to growing this partnership with our counterparts in South Africa, New Zealand and Australia; starting with the first ever International Netball Super Series."
