Jimmy Walker sealed victory at the PGA Championship on Sunday and signalled his intent by holing from the bunker at the 10th.
The 37-year-old American finished on 14 under par to win by a single shot from defending champion Jason Day at Baltusrol.
However, Walker made the turn having failed to make a gain on the front nine and with the chasing pack breathing down his neck.
So when he then sent his second shot at the 10th into the green-side bunker, it looked as if his lead might be about to disappear.
Walker though had other ideas. He made the perfect connection with his wedge shot and watched as the ball landed on the green and rolled gently towards the hole before dropping.
That birdie moved him two shots clear, led to a fist pumping celebration and set him on his way to his maiden major title.
Further gains followed at the 11th and the 17th before he held his nerve to hole a three footer to secure victory on the last.
