Patrick Reed tops the leaderboard after a six-under 66 at Augusta National, where a stunning approach into the par-four 14th set up one of nine birdies in his round.
Australia's Marc Leishman produced an early shot-of-the-year contender to set up an eagle at the 15th and get into second spot, with Henrik Stenson chipping in from off the 11th green and Justin Thomas producing a similar shot at the 14th to make moves up the leaderboard.
Tiger Woods made the cut in his first Augusta appearance since 2015, hitting an amazing recovery during his back-nine grind, with Rickie Fowler and Bubba Watson among the players to produce moments of magic during the round.
