World Long Drive champion Joe Miller takes on Nick Dougherty in the Shot Centre

World Long Drive champion Joe Miller showed off his big-hitting talent by taking on Sky Sports’ Nick Dougherty in the Shot Centre.

The three-time world champion popped in to the studio during live coverage from the opening round of the WGC-Mexico Championship, where he was able to demonstrate his remarkable distance off the tee.

Sky Sports' resident coach Simon Holmes spent time analysing the big-hitter's technique with the driver, looking at how his body shape and head movement is far different to what is usually taught.

After smashing a couple of monster blows in the Shot Centre, Miller was put to the test by Dougherty to see just how much further he could hit it than the Sky Sports presenter.

Dougherty went first and, armed with plenty with excuses, saw his effort go 303 yards, but how much further would Miller's tee shot go on the Trackman software?
