Watch the six holes in one that have been made on the 17th at TPC Sawgrass

TPC Sawgrass' 17th hole has produced a number of memorable moments through the years

After Will Wilcox became only the sixth man in Players Championship history to make a hole in one at the 17th, we take a look at the elite group who have managed the feat.

After the tournament's inception in 1974, we had to wait 14 years before Pete Dye's island green creation witnessed its first ace, and honour fell to Brad Fabel when he holed out in the opening round.

Five years later, Brian Claar had the big crowds erupting with his ace, while two-time Players winner Fred Couples made the third in the final round in 1997 as defending champion.

Joey Sindelar repeated the trick two years later, and he was followed by Paul Azinger in 2000 before Miguel Angel Jimenez became the first non-American to ace the 17th in 2002.

And 6,300 tee shots over 14 years later, Wilcox's yellow ball disappeared into the cup - the first hole in one in the second round at the Stadium Course.
