Huddersfield have confirmed that centre-back Leigh Franks has not been offered a new contract and has been released.
The 20-year-old progressed through the club's academy system after joining from non-league Bridlington in the summer of 2007. Terriers manager Lee Clark said: "Leigh has some good attributes as a defender and we will do everything we can to help him get fixed up with another club if that is the path he chooses."
