The Miami International Autodrome joined the Formula 1 calendar in 2022 on a 10-year contract.
Verstappen won the inaugural event after overtaking Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc, then held off the Monegasque driver on a late safety car restart.
In 2023, Verstappen did it again as he recovered from ninth on the grid to beat team-mate Sergio Perez by using the alternative strategy.
