Mikel Landa and Sergio Henao will both support Chris Froome's bid for a third title in four years at the Criterium du Dauphine, which starts on Sunday.

Landa has been added to Team Sky's eight-man line-up after recovering from the illness that forced him to abandon last month's Giro d'Italia.

Henao also comes into the squad after being cleared to race by the International Cycling Union (UCI) this week following an investigation into the blood values in his biological passport.

The other members of the line-up are British duo Ian Stannard and Luke Rowe, Dutch climber Wout Poels, former world champion Michal Kwiatkowski and Italy's Salvatore Puccio.

Meanwhile, Simon Yates will not form part of Orica-GreenEdge's squad at the Dauphine, despite being initially listed as a starter on the official race website.

Yates tested positive for the asthma drug terbutaline in March and his case is still being reviewed by the UCI.

He is free to race due to the fact that terbutaline does not trigger a provisional suspension under the UCI's anti-doping rules, but Orica-GreenEdge have opted not to take him to the Dauphine.

A team statement read: "Due to the pending decision regarding Simon Yates, he will not ride the 2016 Criterium du Dauphine. His next scheduled race is the Tour of Slovenia."

Simon's twin brother, Adam, has been named in Orica-GreenEdge's Dauphine team.

The eight-day Dauphine takes place from June 5-12 and is this year made up of an uphill time trial, four summit finishes and three stages that should end in sprints.

It is regarded as the last key warm-up for the Tour de France and was won by Froome in both 2013 and 2015 prior to his victories at the Tour later those summers.

Geraint Thomas will not race the Dauphine, as he will instead lead Team Sky at the Tour de Suisse from June 11-19.
