Watch Ben Stokes smash three sixes on his way to a hundred on day two of the third Test at The Kia Oval.

666; the number of the beast - particularly apt, following Ben Stokes' brutal display of hitting to go through to a century on day two of the third Test against South Africa.

Stokes hit arguably his best ever Test ton, in testing conditions, at The Oval, but it was the way he got to three figures that really stood out.

Stokes smashed Keshav Maharaj for three consecutive sixes - the second of which brought up his century - at the back-end of an enthralling England first innings.

The first of Stokes' sixes, to the deep midwicket boundary, very nearly resulted in his demise for 91, with Faf du Plessis claiming the catch, only for his momentum running backwards to tack him tumbling into the boundary.

There was no doubt about his second, which saw him through to a second Test ton against South Africa - following his 258 at Cape Town - as he emphatically launched Maharaj over long-on.

Then, the third was another slog-swept effort that this time comfortably cleared the cow corner boundary and into a jubilant Oval crowd.
