Frampton has admitted he would welcome a summer showdown with Selby in his hometown of Belfast, if he successfully defends his WBA 'super' title with another win over Santa Cruz.

Just under four years ago, Selby defeated Martin Lindsay at the Odyssey Arena on the same bill as Frampton, and would happily head back to Northern Ireland for a fight against 'The Jackal'.

"That sounds good to me," he told Sky Sports.

Belfast is okay for me. I've boxed there before and it was one of the best experiences I've had.

"It would be nice to win and look very good doing it, because it will be a super fight, but I do think British boxing fans will demand it anyway - as long as I win.

"Belfast is okay for me. I've boxed there before and it was one of the best experiences I've had. I was boxing in a great venue and they are all boxing people.
