Promoter Eddie Hearn believes rising middleweight star Chris Eubank Jr and his legendary father form a 'unique package.'

The 26-year-old Eubank Jr (19-1-KO14) recently signed with Hearn's Matchroom Promotions and is preparing to make his Sky Sports debut against Tony Jeter on October 24.

Accompanied by his former world champion father, now known simply as 'English', the Brighton fighter is hoping to progress from WBA interim world champion status and Hearn has highlighted the commercial appeal surrounding the signing.

He told Sky Sports: "I've spent today following the Eubanks around Sky Sports being interviewed and they have a unique package.

"Boxing is about personalities and when I've seen Eubank Jr fight in the past and then I've seen 'English' get in the ring, the whole audience and the whole of social media are talking about it. It doesn't mean it's right or wrong - you can have your own opinion about it. You're still talking about it.

"For a promoter there's nothing better than having a fighter people are talking about. Eubank Jr can really fight. You're talking about a guy who's No 1 in the world and we haven't even scratched the surface yet.

"From a personality point of view, as a package and him as a fighter, I'm very excited about Eubank Jr and you're going to see him in some huge fights on Sky Sports."

Beyond the Jeter bout, Eubank Jr is expected to face Gary 'Spike' O'Sullivan (21-1-KO14) on December 12 but has hinted at the possibility of stepping up a division to challenge James DeGale for his IBF world super-middleweight title next year.

Hearn added: "Eubank Jr against DeGale is a massive fight. There's also George Groves and Martin Murray there. There are so many huge fights out there for Eubank Jr.

"The focus for Eubank Jr right now is the middleweight division. He's virtually in the mandatory position for Daniel Jacobs, and that's definitely a fight he'd like.

"The Spike O'Sullivan fight is another interesting fight. I think it's got some nice spice to it. But Eubank Jr against DeGale is huge."
