Trevor Nyakane has become the latest South Africa player to be ruled out of the deciding Test against Ireland.
The prop injured an ankle during Saturday's 32-26 win in Johannesburg - a result that squared the series heading into this weekend's third game in Port Elizabeth.
Scans cleared Nyakane of a fracture, but the swelling is bad enough for him to join Duane Vermeulen and Pat Lambie on the sidelines.
An elbow injury will keep out No 8 Vermeuelen, while fly-half Lambie is still showing signs of concussion after he was caught by CJ Stander during Ireland's first-Test victory.
Lood de Jager (calf) is another doubt, and South Africa are expected to name a replacement for Nyakane before the weekend.
