Springboks star Francois Louw signs new contract with Bath

South Africa flanker Francois Louw has signed a new contract with Bath which keeps him at The Rec until 2019.

Louw has made 80 appearances for Bath since he joined them, and has won 43 caps for South Africa, playing for them in the 2015 World Cup.

Bath coach Mike Ford said: "Francois is one of the best players in the world, and we're obviously delighted that he's staying with us.

"His playing ability speaks for itself, but he also brings huge amounts of leadership, experience and intelligence to the club off the field, which are invaluable as we continue to develop."

Louw said: "I'm really excited to have extended my stay at Bath.
