There were a number of bone-crushing tackles, particularly in Wellington and Sydney as the Hurricanes hammered the Highlanders and the Brumbies won at Australian rivals the Waratahs.
Tolu Latu used his sizeable bulk to take down Brumbies No 8 Jordan Smiler, while fly-half Wharenui Hawera was sent backpedalling by a big carry from Israel Folau.
Defending Super Rugby champions the Hurricanes were big winners over the Highlanders, where Brad Shields felt the full force of a Malakai Fekitoa tackle and Ben Smith was put on his backside by two-try centre Ngani Laumape.

Round five kicks off with a Friday double-header as the Crusaders face Western Force in Christchurch and the Rebels host the Waratahs.
