WATCH: Greg Minikin scores incredible try in Castleford's win over Wakefield

Castleford's Greg Minikin takes a knock on from Wakefield and sprints past a handful of opponents to race in for a brilliant try

Greg Minikin scored an incredible individual try as Castleford ran out 46-20 winners over Wakefield on Sunday.

Castleford overturned a half-time deficit to claim victory in the final round of the Super League regular season.

Wakefield led 20-16 with the third quarter drawing to a close before the Tigers added five tries in the last 23 minutes for a comfortable victory that puts Castleford in sixth place in the Super League standings as the competition heads for the Super 8s.

The Tigers scored eight tries in total, but the pick of the bunch was this individual effort from Minikin, who swooped on a careless pass from his opposite number Reece Lyne and went 90 metres practically untouched to score.

The try was Castleford's first, sparking them into life after an average start to the encounter. Wakefield boss Chris Chester blamed injuries for his side's loss, saying the Wildcats 'ran out of troops'.
