Wigan second-rower Liam Farrell is set to miss Thursday's trip to Leigh after being charged with foul and abusive language to a match official.
The England international was sin-binned for dissent in the aftermath of a try in Saturday's 39-26 defeat at Hull.
Farrell, who was making his 200th appearance for the Warriors, has been charged with a grade B offence by the Rugby Football League's match review panel.
The 26-year-old has the option of submitting an early guilty plea, which would mean an automatic one-match ban.
The loss of Farrell to suspension would be a blow to the Super League champions, who are struggling in sixth place after a run of six games without a win.
Widnes centre Chris Bridge has been charged with a grade B dangerous throw and also received a caution for punching, while Catalans Dragons back-rower Jordan Dezaria has been hit with a grade C dangerous contact charge.
Like Farrell, both players could submit an early guilty plea to avoid a trip to Leeds on Tuesday to face a disciplinary hearing and the possibility of a harsher punishment.
Cautions were also issued to Wigan forward Willie Isa (tripping), Leigh prop Antoni Maria (contact with referee) and Catalans winger Iain Thornley (throwing ball).
