Toronto will play their first home Betfred Championship match at Markham, Ontario, because of ongoing renovation work at Lamport Stadium.

The Wolfpack are playing the first half of the season on the road, largely because of improvement work at the Lamport, and have already switched home fixtures against Toulouse and Halifax to Newcastle and London, respectively.

Now they have announced their round 13 match against Swinton will take place at Fletcher's Fields, around 30 miles north of Lamport, on Saturday, May 5.

Gareth O'Brien scored a hat-trick as Toronto registered a 26-18 win over Batley on Sunday

Toronto coach Paul Rowley said: "We were determined that if Lamport wasn't ready then we would make a commitment to find ourselves a different venue in or near Toronto.

"This is massive for us and I know will be massive for our fans.
