Billy Horschel and Scott Piercy carded a blemish-free 67 to secure a narrow victory at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans on Sunday.
The American pair posted five birdies in the foursomes format at TPC Louisiana to move ahead of the chasing pack and secure their first PGA Tour victories of the season.
Jason Dufner and Pat Perez carded a bogey-free 68 in the team event to grab second ahead of Charl Schwartzel and Louis Oosthuizen, while Chris Paisley pitched in to eagle his final hole and lift him and Tommy Fleetwood into tied-fourth.
Beginning the day three strokes off the pace, the winning pair moved up the leaderboard by following Horschel's six-foot birdie at the first with a two-putt gain at the next.
Piercy holed from close range at the eighth to see the team reach the turn in 33, before the duo kicked off their back nine with successive gains and posted a run of pars along the closing stretch.
Dufner and Perez also posted a blemish-free card but needed a final-hole birdie to join the clubhouse leaders on 22 under, only to get up-and-down from a bunker and finish one short.
Masters champion Patrick Reed and playing partner Patrick Cantlay finished in the group of teams five strokes back, with Scottish pair Martin Laird and Russell Knox also on 17 under.
Ryder Cup team-mates Henrik Stenson and Justin Rose briefly threatened the lead before posting four bogeys in a five-hole stretch on their way to a final-round 73.
