Will MacKenzie turned a lucky escape in to a moment of magic at TPC Sawgrass' famous 17th hole during the second round of The Players Championship.
The world No 143 was already on course to miss the cut when he headed to the dreaded 174-yard par-three, so had nothing to lose as he unleashed his tee-shot towards the island at the end of the water.
His ball seemed destined to end up in the hazard, only to take a fortunate bounce off the wooden edge of the island and somehow find dry land in the form of thick rough to the side of the island path.
