Tiger Woods celebrates as he makes it over the water for the first time this week on Augusta's 12th hole

Tiger Woods finally had something to smile about after ending his bad record at Augusta’s iconic 12th hole during the third round of the Masters.

Third round as it happened

Relive the best of the action from the third round at Augusta.

The 14-time major champion, making his first Masters appearance since 2015, struggled at the Golden Bell during his opening two rounds and found the water off the tee on both occasions.

Although Woods was able to recover from ending up in Rae's Creek on Thursday and Friday to limit the damage to a bogey on both days, the former world No 1 enjoyed better fortunes on his third visit of the week.

Woods safely found the green on the par-three and left himself 12 feet from the flag on his way to a two-putt par, with the 42-year-old sarcastically raising his arms aloft to celebrate not finishing in the hazard for a third consecutive day.
