In the first of our 'Learn with Lee' series ahead of the British Masters, Lee Westwood demonstrates how he will get the most of his driver around Close House.
The Northumberland venue makes its maiden appearance on the European Tour this week, where tournament host Westwood has been attached as the touring pro since 2011.
The former world No 1 visited the course's 13th hole, a 527-yard par-five which poses a variety of questions for players, to explain the routine he goes through ahead of hitting a driver.
With Sky Sports' Richard Boxall as his caddie, Westwood talked about how he approaches a tee shot and revealed the setup he has before trying to rip a fade up the fairway.
