Ajax defender Mike van der Hoorn will arrive in south Wales on Friday for talks ahead of a £2m move to Swansea, according to Sky sources.
The former Netherlands U21 international, if all being well, will then undergo a medical on Saturday before concluding a move to the Liberty Stadium.
Earlier this week, Van der Hoorn told reporters in the Netherlands he was delighted to have the chance to move to the Premier League, adding: "Swansea are a great club."
Van der Hoorn, who cost Ajax £3.2m when he joined the club from Utrecht in 2013, will become Francesco Guidolin's first signing of the summer.
Guidolin is currently shaping his squad ahead of his first full season at the club and sold Italian forward Alberto Paloschi to Serie A club Atalanta in June.
Swansea will set off on an 11-day tour of America next Friday as they step up preparations for the new Premier League campaign.
