Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish insists he will not sell winger Wilfried Zaha to Tottenham this summer despite the winger asking to leave for White Hart Lane.

Sky Sports News HQ understands Zaha has met with Palace manager Alan Pardew and told him he wants to join Spurs, who will play Champions League football this season following their third-place finish last term.

Parish confirmed Spurs had tabled an opening bid of £12m on Thursday but that had been immediately knocked back.

"We had a bid from Spurs but £12m - it's ridiculous. I can't imagine that they're serious," Parish told TalkSport.
