Plymouth 0-0 Luton: Hatters held at Argyle

Highlights of the Sky Bet League One game between Plymouth Argyle and Luton Town.

Sky Bet League One leaders Luton extended their unbeaten run to 23 games following a goalless draw at Plymouth.

The Hatters came close to scoring at the start of the second half as James Collins' goal-bound header had to be tipped onto the crossbar by Argyle's on-loan Arsenal goalkeeper Matt Macey, recalled in place of the injured Kyle Letheren.

Macey was then at full-stretch to keep out Elliot Lee's low drive as Luton upped the tempo.

The 6ft 7in keeper was again extended by Lee, with Macey managing to push yet another shot around a post.

At the other end, substitute Ryan Taylor came close with a shot that flew just over the angle.

Patience was the order of the day in a scrappy first half.

The closest either side came to breaking the deadlock was in the fourth minute when Argyle's Portuguese play-maker Ruben Lameiras sent a cross-shot flying across James Shea's goal.
