West Brom caretaker-manager Darren Moore says his team will be playing for more than just pride when they travel to face Manchester United on Sunday, live on Sky Sports Premier League.
The Baggies sit rock bottom of the Premier League, ten points adrift of safety, with just five games remaining in the season.
Moore insists he has not given up hope of avoiding relegation despite the club's dire situation and has challenged his players to show some fighting spirit at Old Trafford.
When asked if the Baggies are playing for just pride, Moore said: "No. It is all about the next fixture. We'll keep fighting, we'll keep planning and preparing as best as we possibly can and remain focused.
"The supporters and everybody connected with the football club would expect that from us and that is exactly what they are going to get."
Nacer Chadli, Daniel Sturridge and Sam Field could all return to the matchday squad for the trip to Manchester, although Moore says he will wait to assess the trio's fitness before making a decision.
"All those three are now back in training which is excellent for us - delighted to have them back," he said.
"It is always good to have additions to the squad and all three players are quality players. We will see how they train over these next few days. It is possible they could be part of the squad."
West Brom sacked technical director Nick Hammond on Thursday, shortly before appointing experienced sporting director Giuliano Terraneo as a technical consultant, and Moore says he is looking forward to sitting down with the Italian over the coming weeks.
"I've met him briefly for a few minutes. Maybe in the weeks ahead I'll be able to meet him and sit down and have a good chat," said Moore.
He added: "With Nick, I obviously has a wonderful working relationship with him, as do I have with everybody here.
"We wish him well in the future but the club has decided to make another change there. We thank him for his services to the football club. He was a good man. He's moved on -that's the business we're in."
West Brom have been linked with the likes of Mick McCarthy, Michael Appleton and Patrick Kluivert since sacking Alan Pardew earlier this month, and Moore insists he would like to remain as part of the coaching set-up at The Hawthorns regardless of the next managerial appointment.
"I have the utmost respect for this club, everybody knows that, and whatever direction is to come in the future then I am very much hopeful to be part of that," he said.
"But for now, immediately, let's just focus on the Manchester United and go from there."
