West Brom boss Tony Pulis says Saido Berahino will stay on penalty duty

West Brom manager Tony Pulis is convinced Saido Berahino will bounce back from the misery of having two penalties saved during their 1-0 defeat to Watford.

Heroics from visiting keeper Heurelho Gomes meant the striker became only the third player, after Juan Pablo Angel (2005) and Darren Bent (2010), to miss two penalties in a Premier League game.

"I was really confident Saido would score. He'll be stronger for it," said Pulis.

"He's a good player and it happens, it's a cruel game at times.

"It was certainly cruel for Saido and for us as a football team."

Asked if he would consider taking Berahino off penalty duty, Pulis added: "No not at all.
