Chris Wilder is confident Sheffield United's players will be able to cope with the pressure when they face Ipswich Town.

The Blades play rock-bottom Ipswich live on Sky Sports Football on Saturday evening, knowing victory will take them to the verge of promotion.

It would complete a remarkable rise for Wilder's side, who won League One two seasons ago and have bypassed teams with far bigger budgets during a phenomenal campaign.

"I think that they understand the scenario, they understand the situation," Wilder told Soccer Saturday.

"The group is an experienced one that's been through it before, so there is no issue. They understand my attitude of the next game is the most important.

"Unfortunately it is a boring one, and people want to talk and I know you'll want to talk about 'what if', but it has to be about trying to win the next game.

"When people look at us and go Sheffield United will beat [Nottingham] Forest and beat Hull, then turn Ipswich over. They're just words to me.

"We've got to go out and do the business and we did take care of those two games and we're going have to be just as much on it, if not more, to take on Ipswich."

Boyhood Blade Wilder would not use the promotion word, but did admit that 'rewarding' their loyal fans would be special for him.

"To support this club it takes some doing, but they're passionate and they stick with their football club through thick and thin," he added.

"If we did reward them on Saturday night with a positive result, that would be great for them because they have gone through the mill. It's a great footballing city and for us it'd be great if we can achieve something."
