Marcus Rashford plays ball with Odell Beckham Jr

Marcus Rashford tries his hand at a new sport with the help of Odell Beckham Jr

A Beckham-Rashford combination may be a Man Utd dream, but it was the former's NFL namesake who has been exchanging passes.

Marcus Rashford has been touring Portland over the summer, training at the Nike Oregon Project and linking up with MLS side Portland Timbers.

The United and England striker swapped the round ball for 'pigskin' when New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr arrived for an extra training session.

The pair exchanged a few passes before Rashford swapped one of his England shirts for a 'Beckham' jersey he likely dreamed of as a kid - albeit an American football top this time.

Rashford, 19, is gearing up for United's pre-season tour, which takes them back to the US where they will face rivals Manchester City at the NRG Stadium in Texas on July 21.
