Paul Merson reviews Swansea's 1-0 win against newcomers Burnley in their opening game of the Premier League season.
A tap-in from Leroy Fer was the difference as Swansea started their Premier League campaign with a narrow win against Sean Dyche's side.
Fer's 83rd-minute strike helped the Swans to three hard-fought points against a gritty Clarets team who will feel hard done by not to have at least earned a point.
And Merson, who was watching the game for Soccer Saturday, says Swansea were just about better side.
"Swansea were just the better team. They were more of a threat," he said. "Gray didn't really have many chances and Fernandez missed probably the biggest sitter of the season from three yards out.
"Montero was different class when he came on. I know it's early in the season but it's a massive three points for Swansea.
"Burnley didn't really look like scoring and they really need to buy players. They should have had a penalty, there was a lot of pulling in the box, Keane was coming in at the far post and Fer pulled him back and couldn't get there."
