England v Windies: Watch pick of first day's action at Lord's

Stokes bags 6-22 and Anderson left stranded on 499 wickets before England slump with the bat at HQ

See the best of the action from day one of the third Test between England and the West Indies at Lord's.

A whopping 14 wickets fell on day one of the series-deciding third Test at Lord's with the West Indies skittled for 123 and England slumping to 46-4.

In the first Test at HQ ever to take place in September, Ben Stokes' career-best 6-22 ensured the Windies lasted just 57.3 overs and left James Anderson one shy of becoming the first English bowler to 500 Test wickets.

But Stokes (13no) - omitted from England's T20 squad against Windies at his home ground in Durham - was thrust into action with the bat in just the 15th over as Kemar Roach and Jason Holder both struck twice.

Watch the video above for highlights from day one, including the two scalps that took Anderson to 499, 14 years after he claimed his first Test wicket - Zimbabwe's Mark Vermeulen - at the same venue.

James Anderson pulled out all the stops in search of his 500th Test wicket but somehow Devendra Bishoo survived. Watch this incredible over!

Mark Stoneman (1) nicked off in the third over of England's reply and was soon joined back in the shed by Alastair Cook (10), Tom Westley (8) and Joe Root (1), leaving Stokes and Dawid Malan (13no) at the crease at stumps.
