Floyd Mayweather's showdown with Conor McGregor will be at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas after promoters reached an agreement with American rapper and actor Ice Cube to move the championship game of his Big3 basketball league.
The final game of the 3-on-3 season of former NBA players had been scheduled to take place at the T-Mobile Arena on August 26 - the same day as Mayweather's clash with McGregor - but will now be held at MGM Grand Garden Arena to accommodate the fight.
Big3 confirmed on Tuesday it had reached a financial and promotional deal with MGM Resorts, Mayweather Promotions and UFC, although the terms of that agreement were not revealed.
Mayweather is preparing to return from retirement to face UFC superstar McGregor, with the fight taking place under normal boxing rules, despite the Irishman having never boxed on the professional circuit.
The bout will be contested at 154lbs and could see the 40-year-old American make history by surpassing Rocky Marciano's unbeaten record of 49-0.
McGregor also made history last November by becoming the first UFC fighter to hold titles in two weight divisions (featherweight and lightweight) simultaneously after defeating Eddie Alvarez.
It ensured the 28-year-old improved to 21-3 as a mixed martial artist, but he is arguably facing the toughest test of his career against the multi-division boxing world champion.
