John Cena challenged The Undertaker to a match on the grandest stage of them all this week in what would be a dream contest for many WWE fans.
The two have shared a ring on several occasions, but never on the Mania stage and with all of the whistle and bells such a huge contest would entail.
In fact, one of Cena's first big matches involved the Phenom, when he was a matter of weeks out of Ohio Valley Wrestling and lining up alongside him to face Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle in a July 2002 SmackDown tag-team match in Atlantic City.
The first big one, however, would be at the Royal Rumble six months later, an event to which Cena arrived in his typical 'B-Boy' stylings and, it has to be said, not actually looking that different to how he does in 2018.
The speculated match against Undertaker may or may not happen, and much is likely to depend on the physical condition of the now-52-year-old legend.
So in the meantime, take a trip down memory lane with our Flashback Friday revisit of the time Cena and Taker did battle in 2003!
