After Alexa Bliss claims that Mickie James' best days are behind her, the veteran strikes back

It's that time of the week where we look at who's had a few memorable days and who'd rather forget their recent antics in WWE.

GOOD WEEK

Alexa Bliss (RAW)

Bliss has seemingly stepped into a rivalry with veteran Mickie James after seeing off the rest of RAW's Women's Division by winning the Fatal 5-way match at No Mercy.

Women's Champion Bliss and James went face-to-face this week in a fantastic exchange that stokes up what you'd expect will end up in a title match soon.

Undefeated Asuka arrives at TLC next month so expect changes to the entire division but it appears the only person that doesn't fear her right now is a confident Bliss.

Jinder Mahal addresses the controversial comments that drew the ire of Shinsuke Nakamura

Shinsuke Nakamura (SmackDown)

Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon are dominating the build-up to Hell in a Cell but don't forget that Nakamura gets a second shot at Jinder Mahal's WWE Championship on the same night.

Fans were quick to criticise WWE for Mahal's racially insensitive insults at Nakamura on last week's Smackdown but at least the Japanese star got some revenge this week by hitting the champion with a Kinshasa knee strike.

Referring to the way Nakamura looks and sounds has not gone down well, so expect even more support for the ever-popular challenger in the early hours of October 9.

Adam Cole (NXT)

Adam Cole finally made his in-ring debut on NXT this week and it was well worth the wait.

The former Ring of Honor star took on Eric Young in a fantastic match that had tension building up for weeks beforehand.

Both competitors had their running mates from the Undisputed Era and Sanity in their corner so it'll be interesting to see if this ends up in a compelling Tag Team Championship clash at NXT Takeover: Houston.

Unfortunately for Curt Hawkins, he had to learn the hard way that's there's no escaping The Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman

BAD WEEK

Curt Hawkins (RAW)

Curt Hawkins has been on a downward spiral ever since he returned to WWE last year and it's now been revealed his losing streak has stretched to 115 matches.

To make matters worse, he was thrown through a table and then the RAW set this week by Braun Strowman, who was not in the mood to be delicate after losing to Brock Lesnar at No Mercy.

Images of Hawkins' injuries were then shared online and it seems he'll have to wait even longer for that elusive win if he needs time on the physio's table to recover.

Facing off against Sami Zayn for the first time ever on SmackDown, Kevin Owens used the match-up as an opportunity to continue throwing Shane McMahon off his game, viciously attacking Zayn two weeks before WWE Hell in a Cell

Sami Zayn (SmackDown)

Sami Zayn was once again sent in to defuse a messy situation involving long-time rival Kevin Owens and once again he was on the end of a severe beat down.

The animosity between Owens and Shane McMahon is building up brilliantly towards their clash inside Hell in a Cell, live on Sky Sports Box Office, and Zayn played a big part in that this week.

It would be nice, however, to see the talented superstar in his own main event-worthy feud.

Heavy Machinery (NXT)

Heavy Machinery has been delivering fantastic performances on NXT for a number of months but it seems they are still not being taken seriously.

Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight won again this week but there doesn't appear to be a title shot on the horizon.

The two heavyweights are in desperate need of competition and the perfect men to step up to them here would be former NXT Tag Team Champions Authors of Pain, who haven't been seen since their title loss to Sanity.
