WWE chairman Vince McMahon has been left bloodied and beaten after an attack by Kevin Owens.
As you can see in the video above, the 72-year old needed medical attention after receiving a headbutt and a couple of punches from a man almost forty years his junior.
McMahon had come to the ring on Smackdown to set up a match between Owens and his son Shane at Hell in a Cell next month.
Owens, who had threatened to sue WWE after being attacked by Shane last week, sought confirmation by McMahon senior that he wouldn't be fired for "beating up a McMahon".
Choosing his words carefully, Owens then attacked his boss, finishing his assault with a frogsplash from the top rope.
Medical teams and his daughter Stephanie had to help McMahon out of the ring after he was cut open by the opening headbutt.
The attack means the battle between Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon, live on Sky Sports Box Office, will be even more brutal than expected given the tensions caused in the build-up.
Elsewhere on Smackdown, there are new Tag Team Champions after The New Day beat The Usos in a street fight.
Kofi Kingston put Jey Uso through a table before teaming up with Big E for their 'Midnight Hour' finisher to reclaim the titles.
Natalya retained the Women's Championship by beating Naomi after slamming her into a ring post before locking her in Sharpshooter submission.
The match got off to an odd start, however, when rival Carmella came to the commentary table with her mate James Ellsworth chained to a dog collar.
As expected, Baron Corbin got involved in Tye Dillinger's shot at AJ Styles' U.S. Championship.
Corbin attacked Dillinger before the match and, after Styles beat Dillinger, assaulted them both after the bell to continue his problems with both competitors.
