Samoa Joe has fired the first shot in his upcoming battle with Brock Lesnar.
As you can see in the video above, the No. 1 contender for the Universal Title attacked Lesnar's long-time advocate Paul Heyman last night on RAW to send a message to the champion.
The pair meet at WWE Great Balls of Fire in Dallas, live on Sky Sports Box Office, on July 10 in what promises to be one of the most physical encounters of the year.
Joe used last night to try to get into the head of Lesnar by confronting Heyman in the corner of the ring and menacingly telling him what he's prepared to do to him.
"Something very bad is about to happen to you now... I'm going to wrap my arm around your throat," Joe told Heyman before locking in his Coquina Clutch submission hold.
A helpless Heyman became unconscious within seconds and needed medical treatment after the attack.
Lesnar, despite his absence, was quick to respond. He called Heyman and his comeback on RAW for next week was quickly confirmed.
If Brock and Joe come to blows next week one of them may struggle to make it Dallas.
