Swansea are expected to confirm the signings of Martin Olsson and Tom Carroll on Monday.
The duo, who are joining from Norwich and Tottenham respectively, were undergoing medicals in south Wales over the weekend.
Carroll, who spent the 2014-15 season on loan at Swansea, was back at the Liberty stadium on Saturday to watch the Arsenal game. The fee for both players is understood to be in the region of £4.5m
Speaking after the 4-0 defeat to Arsenal, Clement said: "My views of what we need to do in the window are the same as they were before the game.
"The signing of Tom Carroll is very close; pending a medical and the paperwork it will go through – and it is the same with Olsson.”
Clement, who sealed a £4m deal for PSV winger Luciano Narsingh last week, saw his side slip to the bottom of the standings on the back of Saturday's results.
