Robert Snodgrass has turned down the offer of a new contract at Hull City, according to Sky sources.
The 29-year-old Scotland international's deal is up in the summer but Hull are attempting to exercise their option of a further year.
Sky Sports News HQ understands a handful of Premier League clubs are keeping a close eye on the situation.
Snodgrass has scored five Premier League goals this season - plus two in the EFL Cup - for bottom-placed Hull, and a further three for Scotland since the summer.
The 29-year-old has also been linked with a move to Celtic but, according to the Daily Record, manager Brendan Rodgers has shown no interest in taking the Scot to Parkhead.
Snodgrass started his career north of the border with Livingston before a move to Leeds United in July 2008. He then spent two years at Norwich before a switch to the KCOM Stadium in 2014.
He was sidelined for a year after he dislocated his kneecap and damaged ligaments on his Premier League debut for the club but has been a key part of Mike Phelan's side this season.
