Young Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell has signed a new five-year deal with the Premier League champions.
The England U21 left-back had been linked with a move to Liverpool, having caught the eye on loan with Huddersfield last season and during pre-season.
But the 19-year-old has now signed fresh terms with Claudio Ranieri's side, earning a deal that ties him to the club until the summer of 2021.
Chilwell, who is on Leicester's tour to the United States, played in three cup games for the Foxes last season and made eight appearances for Huddersfield in the Sky Bet Championship.
"It's fantastic news for us," Ranieri said. "Ben is a player with a big future and I am very happy that future will be with Leicester City.
"Ever since I arrived in Leicester, Ben has been a young player that has shown a lot of promise. He has all the attributes you would want in a defender and shows a lot of maturity for a player of just 19.
"He has come back for pre-season in very good condition and is already showing that he is ready to push for a place in the team."
