Marin Cilic powered into the fourth round of Wimbledon after beating qualifier Lukas Lacko on Saturday morning.
The match was one of several postponed on Friday evening due to rain and bad light.
However, Cilic did not take long to wrap up victory upon resumption, firing down nine aces in the final set to win 6-3 6-3 6-4 in one hour and 49 minutes.
The 2014 US Open champion will meet fifth seed Kei Nishikori in the fourth round after he beat Andrey Kuznetsov 7-5 6-3 7-5.
Shortly after Cilic and Lacko stepped off court, play was again interrupted by rain.
Alexander Zverev was the last player through to the second round as he outlasted Mikhail Youzhny 6-4 3-6 6-0 4-6 6-2.
The 19-year-old will next play 10th seed Tomas Berdych.
Wimbledon will stage matches on middle Sunday for the first time since 2004 because of continuing bad weather.
The middle Sunday is traditionally a rest day at Wimbledon but the additional day is a back-up option in the event of persistent rain during the first week.
Also through on a busy Saturday at the All England Club are Steve Johnson, the winner in Nottingham will face Roger Federer after beating former semi-finalist Grigor Dimitrov.
And Bernard Tomic is into the fourth round, he beat Roberto Bautista Agut in straight sets and will face either Lucas Pouille or Juan Martin Del Potro in the last 16.
