Nick Kyrgios says Kyle Edmund can be a "massive" threat at Wimbledon after knocking the British No 1 out of the Fever-Tree Championships at Queen's Club on Thursday.
Kyrgios has followed up his win over Andy Murray by knocking Edmund out of the tournament, winning 7-6 (7-3) 6-7 (5-7) 6-3.
It was largely down to a serving masterclass as the Australian sent down 32 aces and faced only one break point as he moved into the quarter-finals.
Kyrgios feels the Brit can make an impact the All England Club this summer, despite the world No 17 having failed to make it beyond the second round in six attempts.
"He can be a massive threat, I think. I think he's really good on grass. He serves well and his backhand has improved really a lot. He's got a good forehand and returns well," complemented Kyrgios during a press conference.
"I think he can do well on the grass, for sure. I was pretty impressed with his grass court tennis today."
"He played really well today. I was really surprised. He handled that low balls well, volleyed well and he returned well. He also sliced well.
"His intangibles were good. Yeah, I would definitely put him in that category."

Kyrgios was asked about the BBC apologising on air for his language and said: "Fine. I don't care."
When asked if outbursts like that were something he would like to keep under control, he replied: "Do you swear? No, do you swear? Yes or no? Yes or no? Do you swear? Do you swear? Okay, great. Good question."
