Pablo Carreno Busta pulled off a stunning hotdog winner against Marco Cecchinato at the Rio Open.
Third seed and 11th-ranked Carreno Busta advanced, beating Italian world No 102 Cecchinato 6-4 6-1
But the Spaniard was put under pressure in the 10th game of the opener when serving to stay in the set. The 26-year-old former US Open semi-finalist conjured up a moment of brilliance when put under pressure.
Carreno Busta pulled off the spectacular with an audacious tweener down the line for a winner. He then went on to claim the set and the match in straight sets to reach the last-16 where he will play Slovenia's Aljaz Bedene.
