Andy Murray and coach Amelie Mauresmo have 'mutually agreed' to end their partnership.
The duo worked together for two years and world No 3 Murray says Mauresmo's input has been hugely beneficial.
"I've learned a lot from Amelie over the past two years," said Murray. "She's been a calming influence in the team and we'll miss having her around.
"I'd like to thank her for everything she has done, she has been an invaluable member of the team.
"I will take some time to consider the next steps and how we progress from here."
Mauresmo said: "Working with Andy over the last two years has been a fantastic experience for me. I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the great team of people he has around him.
"Dedicating enough time along with the travel has been a challenge for me. I wish him and his team well and I hope he goes on to win many more titles."
Having won two Grand Slam titles while working with coach Ivan Lendl, Murray split with the Czech in March 2014 and caused a stir in the tennis world when he announced the hiring of Mauresmo after that year's French Open.
Mauresmo, herself a Wimbledon winner in her playing days, became the first woman to coach one of the top male players.
Although Murray failed to add to his tally of Grand Slam titles while working with Mauresmo, he has enjoyed plenty of success during the partnership.
Last year the 28-year-old reached the Australian Open final, claimed his first career clay court titles after showing significant improvement on the surface, and led the way as Great Britain secured the Davis Cup.
This year he reached the Australian Open final once again, losing to world No 1 Novak Djokovic, who also beat him in Sunday's Madrid Open final.
No specific reason has been given for the split, which comes less than two months after Murray dismissed talk of a rift between himself and Mauresmo as he adjusted to parenthood.
Mauresmo, 36, gave birth to her first child last August, and was herself absent on maternity leave for much of last year.
Jonas Bjorkman worked with Murray during that period but left the team when Mauresmo returned at the end of 2015.
