Tie Break Tens: Serena Williams will take to the court at Madison Square Garden in New York

Tie Break Tens is heading to Madison Square Garden for one night, featuring eight world-class female tennis players, including the Williams sisters

Multiple Grand Slam champion Serena Williams is joined by several other world-class female tennis players for the Tie Break Tens event at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The all-women event is the first time a Tie Break Tens tournament will be held in the United States and follows successful events in London, Vienna, Madrid and Melbourne.

It will be held over one day and involve eight players competing in a knock- out format, with each match consisting of a super tie-break to ten points.

Serena will be joined by her sister Venus, as well as the winner of the recent Dubai Duty Free Championships, Elina Svitolina, big-hitting American Coco Vandeweghe, Sorana Cirstea from Romania, China's Zhang Shuai, former Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli, and Daniela Hantuchova.

They will battle it out to raise the trophy and secure the $250,000 winner's prize.

Tie Break Tens is...

A quick-fire version of tennis. Unlike conventional tennis matches, Tie Break Tens matches are comprised solely of tie breaks - no games, no sets, just exhilarating ten- point breakers in which every point counts.

You can watch the event live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Mix, which you can find on channel 287, and is free for all Sky customers, from midnight on Monday, and don't forget you can watch repeats on Sky Sports Action from midday on Tuesday and 7pm on Sky Sports Action & Sky Sports Mix.
