Worcester have scored an emphatic 68-17 European Challenge Cup victory against Petrarca, a result which has secured them a home quarter-final draw against Brive.
The Warriors ran in 10 tries to overtake their last-eight opponents from France, amid speculation at Sixways that head coach Clive Griffiths is set to quit the club for personal reasons next week.
Joe Carlisle was the first to touch down in the seventh minute, with further scores from Rico Gear, Charlie Fellows, Will Bowley, Kai Horstmann and Dale Rasmussen seeing them go 40-0 up at half time.
Ex-Gloucester fly-half Ludovic Mercier scored for the visitors as Petrarca looked to restore their pride after the break.
However, two penalty tries from scrums and scores by Graham Kitchener and Hal Luscombe sealed a win which enabled Worcester to top Pool Three.
