Wasps made it two wins from two in Pool 5 as they shocked reigning European champions Toulon with a 32-6 bonus-point win in the Champions Cup.
The home side made a brilliant start to the match when Nathan Hughes and Ruaridh Jackson crossed within the first 10 minutes before a superb second-half score from Frank Halai and second touchdown from Hughes sealed a famous victory.
Toulon's only replies came through the boot of scrum-half Jonathan Pelissie, who kicked two penalties.
Wasps started the stronger of the two sides when Christian Wade attacked down the left at pace. Wade fed his fellow winger Halai but the All Black was bundled into touch inches from the line.
Wasps got the scoreboard moving on eight minutes when they exploited an overlap out wide unleashing Hughes to score.
The dream start continued for the hosts when Jackson crossed for his side's second try.
The fly-half created the move when his chip over the onrushing defence was collected by Joe Simpson and after some fine link play from man-of-the-match James Gaskell, Jackson was on hand again to finish the move.
Toulon hit back through the scrum, driving the Wasps pack into reverse and earning the penalty that Pelissie slotted.
Elliot Daly extended Wasps lead on 20 minutes when he unleashed his monster boot to slot over a penalty from inside his own half before Jackson and Pelissie exchanged successful shots at goal giving Wasps a two-score lead going into the break.
Wasps continued to shock the three-time European Champions after the break when Charles Piutau capitalised on the broken field of Toulon defenders, drawing Delon Armitage before he sent Halai through to score.
The bonus-point came in the 66th minute when Ashley Johnson found Joe Launchbury at the tail of a lineout five metres out, with Hughes burrowing over from the back of the well-set driving maul.
The only dampener on the game came when try-scorer Hughes was helped from the field seven minutes from time, forcing Wasps to finish the game a player down.
