Ulster boss Brian McLaughlin has warned his side to be on their guard against winless Aironi on Friday.
Ulster beat Cardiff Blues last time out to keep alive their play-off hopes, however McLaughlin is refusing to take the bottom club lightly.
"It is a potential banana skin for us," McLaughlin told the club's official site.
"It's a game that if we are complacent in, Aironi are a good enough side to smack you in the teeth and that's something we've got to be very careful of.
"They are not an easy side to play against but the emphasis must be on how we perform."
Ulster will be bolstered by the return of Ireland internationals Tom Court and Paddy Wallace, while Ruan Pienaar will start at fly-half.
Aironi coach Rowlands Phillips has made a number of changes of the trip to Ravenhill.
Riccardo Bocchino, Danwel Demas, Kaine Robertson and Pietro Travagli come into the back division, with James Marshall moving to full-back.
In the forwards, Ulyses Gamboa and Roberto Santamaria come into the front row.
