Stade Francais coach Gonzalo Quesada said the future of the club remains uncertain despite Friday's Challenge Cup win.
The Frenchmen were forced to overturn a 10-point deficit before running out 25-17 winners in Edinburgh, claiming their first success in a European final in five attempts.
The victory comes just two months after a sensational proposal to merge Stade Francais with their Paris rivals Racing 92, and though the proposal was scrapped a week later, Stade coach Gonzalo Quesada says the players have continued their season without knowing what the future holds for the club.
"This group went through a lot of tough moments," said Quesada.
"It was not easy, the guys still are playing without knowing what's going to happen in one month with our future, because we still don't know what's going on with the club.
"To keep that commitment for the team, for the jersey, for the club, and keep on training seriously under a lot of emotional pressure - because it's been two months where, if you look back, physically and emotionally we asked a lot from these guys - I'm really proud of what they did tonight."
